Waking up is never easy—especially if you’re not a morning person. Oftentimes, staying in bed sounds much more preferable to getting out and starting your day (anyone else hit their snooze button at least 5 times?)

Nevertheless, each and every day, we do get out of bed. But, not without the help of our favorite elixir: coffee! While there are many folks (particularly millennials) out there who are trying to cut back on their coffee intake and are instead opting for alternate caffeinated beverages for their morning boast, coffee still dominates. Sixty-four percent of Americans drink coffee every day! Yup, coffee isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

One of the great features of coffee is that you can customize it to fit your taste preferences. Like to keep things simple and strong? Just drink it black. Need something with a little more flavor? Throw in a dash of sugar and cream. Want to treat yourself? Grab a mocha!

You can take your coffee so many different ways, including many that you may not have heard of before. Due to our Scandinavian roots, we’re focusing on a coffee with a Swedish twist—Swedish egg coffee, to be precise.

Swedish egg coffee is a delicious way to start off your morning. Here are 4 of the best egg coffee recipes to try today!
