Black Kitchens: Subtle, Serene and Sexy
Remember in high school when you saved up for the perfect pair of black jeans and you wore them so much that they faded to gray? And the first suit I ever bought was black wool. It was classic and sleek and made me feel a little more handsome and way cooler than I actually was.
Black is classic. Everyone looks good in it, even your uncle who’s rumored to be a mafia don. Seriously we just can’t get enough of it.
It’s the same with black kitchens (minus the fade to gray).
White kitchens have been the go-to for a long time. It’s pretty classic and clean in its looks.
It’s also very safe.
There is nothing daring about doing what everyone else has done for millennia.
Besides the cost of the home, a kitchen is probably the most significant investment you’ll make in your home. You want to get it right. When I look at a space, I think about styles that have a long runway and won’t tap out and looked dated after only a few years. Right now I’m all about black kitchens.
