Traditional Mid-Century Modern
Kitchen & Main Level Renovation
This antique-loving couple wanted to keep their mid-century modern home looking traditional. It was achieved by using a shaker style door panel in oak, of course! To combine the two looks we gave the space a fresh coat of white paint and accented with brushed gold hardware. Ceramic slabs were placed on the fireplace surround with oak panels and glass shelving to showcase their antique pieces. Glass cabinet doors were used in the dining room to serve as a hutch for stemware and the oak wet bar paired beautifully with the existing flagstone flooring in the sitting room, a nod to the original setting.
